3 months and Bodes buddy

Even though Bode is officially a few days over 3 months. It was my goal to take a picture on the 16th of every month. Some things Bodster is doing... He slobbers like the best of them. Has discovered he has a tongue and sticks it out all the time. He is pretty happy all the time. He loves going on walks to see whats going on around him. He is holding his head up which he has for awhile. He is talking a ton. We've gotten him to laugh a few times. The best sound in the whole world. And he has been sleeping for 7 hours straight a night. And then a 4 hour nap in the day. Then this weekend we had the Sopers stay with us for a couple days. Jack and Bode loved each other. I will forever be saying twool instead of cool. It was so fun to see them interact. I was happy to catch up with Tone. Adam went to the "Wrestles". (That's how Brett says it too. I say wrestling meet.) But it was state wrestling. Weird but I miss going. I used to go growing up and then to watch Abe and Morris. But I can't be creepy and go without really having anyone to watch. But we already miss them. Bode just loved giving Jack big slobbery licks.

What happens when I comb Bode's hair

I don't use gel or anything to get Bode's hair to stand up. He's just naturally awesome. But when I try and comb it flat this is what I get.. Sore abs from laughing so hard... It was back standing up within the hour.. His eyes look really brown in these pics.. But most days they look olive green...

Brett and Bode watching more football. Bode seriously loves watching football. It's weird and I thought it was a fluke but when he is trying to see over me to see the tv you know its for real. You know this kid has alot of his dad in him. Plus they match. I loooooove it when they match.. I'm weird but I think it is so cute

Bode's Blessing

Brett blessed Bode on the 8th of January. It was perfect. Bodster did so good.. Brett gave such a wonderful blessing. I'm so thankful Brett honors his priesthood and is able to bless his son. We had so many people there in support. Thanks for all those who were able to make it. And the rest of the people who weren't able to come. We missed you but we understand..

2 Months

Bode is 2 months old. He is sleeping more and more all night. If he doesn't he is at least sleeping for 5 hour shifts. He is 23 1/2 inches long and he weighs 10.9 lbs. To me he seems huge and yet he isn't. I keep trying to plump him up but he isn't destined to be. He is healthy and thats all that matters.. I woke him up for these pictures. He refused to smile.. Stinker.. He smiles all the time.. Thats what I get for waiting until evening to take his pictures..

Bode and Emma

Emma loves Bode.. Bode loves Emma. I had Emma come up the other day to help me out. (So I could get my house cleaned for Bode's blessing). She is such a good babysitter. I will be using more of her services from now on. Only if her rates stay the same. Free of course.... J/K but not really..
