Christmas sort of and New Years

Happy New Years....... So we don't have any pictures of christmas. I'm waiting for pictures from someone from the McBride christmas party. HINT HINT:) Because our homemade sweaters were to die for. And for my family get together I have pictures and they are awful.. But christmas was fun. We spent Christmas eve at my parents then we spent christmas night at his parents. So on to New Years we went out to our friends Randy and Heathers house. We sent the kids off downstairs so we could play the Wii fit. I think I got a really good workout. Except after every break I kept eating. I just figured I didn't stop eating over Christmas then why stop on New Years eve. No resolutions. Except try to like cub scouts.

Keratin Complex Smoothing Treatments

It is a bit pricey starting at $150 . They last 3 to 5 months. There is also an express on. But it only lasts 6 weeks and is half the price. But so worth it if you have fuzzy or frizzy hair. San Diego

So this last weekend Brett and I decided to take a short trip to San Diego. We stayed with his friend Steve and his wife Lizette. It was a really fun trip. We didn't do a whole lot except eat. We were both pretty puffed up from all the eating by the time we left. We also went to the Mormon Battalion in Old Town. I knew of the battalion but I didn't know all the details. So it was really cool to see. Then we went to Coronado and La jolla. And Steve was our personal photographer.

It was short and sweet trip. Hopefully when Steve and Lizette come here we can take care of them as well as they took care of us.

This last thursday I was able to meet up with a couple of friends from sizzler days. I was so happy to see you guys. They both are amazing girls. These pics are from 99 we went wakeboarding. Maybe the only time I've ever been. Its because I couldn't get up.. So yes I'm a quiter.. But the picture of the wakeboarder is Erin. But also look at the mountains. Yep snow. It was march april or may..

Apple Fest and Mascot bowl

So this last weekend we went down to Fillmore to see the new baby Londyn and to run in the Apple 5k. It was so much fun Christy and I actually took 3rd place. I have never placed in a race before so I felt pretty proud of myself. But the race is for a charity.http://roperapplefest.blogspot.com/ It was actually my second favorite race ever. Air Force is 1st. I just loved the atmosphere. I do love small towns. But it was oragnized well the race course was mapped out by Mr Turner.. He was teaching at our high school when Me, Abe and Mori went there. So it was fun to visit with his wife and daughter that we share the same birthday. She's 11 years younger and I used to babysit her. Anyways alot of Bretts family also did the race. So we had a pretty representation of his family. @ of his aunts took 1st place in their age divisions. So it was pretty cool to all be there. Brett opted out of this one. And then 4 of the kids ran the 1 miler. Paige took 5th overall and beat colby. Sorry Colby but I am pretty impressed. So this is for the Barkers. (Abe and Nicole maybe it will be while your here. Thats alot better then a one day 30 mile hike Abe.)

We all need to do a race together. So next summer plan on it. I will find one for us.

Then on Monday we went to the mascot bowl. Alot of the mascots from the teams and schools around here and from a few different cities get together for a charity football game against a Lehi junior league team.. We are so charitable.

August is over?

Don't judge.. This was at 5 A.M.

I really suck at this.. Oh well. First part of August we celebrated our 1 year then very next day Brett's (and Brandon's) birthday then off to yuba. Sorry I'm to lazy to get pictures off of Brett's camara. Then 7 peaks with Jordan and Heather.. Only time I will go now is with Jordan.. He's got mad hook ups. Next weekend my family camp out. I don't have any pictures. Nicole might so go look at her blog..Then a couple weeks later we went to Lagoon. I seriously haven't been since 96 senior trip.. Yikes.. Really i am that old weird.. Then Hobble creek Half Marathon with Christy.. Then one last trip to Drive in movies in Mt. Pleasant.. Soooo exciting.. Oh I forgot we went to the Nephi Derby.. It seriously was a good show..
