Snorkling

This Is the first time I had ever been snorkling. It was so much fun. Brett is a fantastic swimmer and I am horrible. But it was fine with fins. I did get tired really easy. Probably because I was putting way to much effort into it. And I didn't like to get close to the fish. they were fun to see. But from a distance. And once I saw the sting ray I screamed and swam away. I was afraid it would come directly at me and sting me..... I'm not even joking. Or that the turtle would just start biting me. And all the teeny tiny fish. I hated swimming through them. I was worried they'd get stuck in my hair. And my last whiney complaint I keep drinking to much salt water. I think my tongue was swollen from dehydration. But other then that I really enjoyed it...... Brett and Abe loved it. They would do it all day if they could. Nicole was a good sport and would come sit on the beach with me. And work on our tans. Even though I'm sure she would've preferred to keep snorkling instead of being with her whiney sis in law...

This is the villa we stayed in.. It was so nice to to be able to buy food (still really expensive. Nicole bought an Airhead candy for $1) But we were able to eat breakfast and pack our lunches. The boys were pretty sick of peanut butter and jam sandwiches. But hey they are easy to take to the beach. The only thing I don't have pictures of are the DONKEYS! There were wild donkeys all over the place. And right when you were just about to sleep they would make these awful noises. I guess it was mating season.. It was pretty funny and Definately one of the the top memories about St John.

Try not to be to jealous. But I will post more. I finally have something to blog about. We're so boring and I love it:) We went to St John in the US Virgin Islands. With Abe and Nicole.

Christmas sort of and New Years

Happy New Years....... So we don't have any pictures of christmas. I'm waiting for pictures from someone from the McBride christmas party. HINT HINT:) Because our homemade sweaters were to die for. And for my family get together I have pictures and they are awful.. But christmas was fun. We spent Christmas eve at my parents then we spent christmas night at his parents. So on to New Years we went out to our friends Randy and Heathers house. We sent the kids off downstairs so we could play the Wii fit. I think I got a really good workout. Except after every break I kept eating. I just figured I didn't stop eating over Christmas then why stop on New Years eve. No resolutions. Except try to like cub scouts.

Keratin Complex Smoothing Treatments

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx So I have started doing Keratin treatments on hair.. An these are the results. I was really skeptical at first. But I have been really impressed. It is a bit pricey starting at $150 . They last 3 to 5 months. There is also an express on. But it only lasts 6 weeks and is half the price. But so worth it if you have fuzzy or frizzy hair. This is the link to the wesite.. I did it on my hair and have loved it. I was a little worried that I would lose the body and not be able to curl it. But my hair hasn't lost either.. San Diego

So this last weekend Brett and I decided to take a short trip to San Diego. We stayed with his friend Steve and his wife Lizette. It was a really fun trip. We didn't do a whole lot except eat. We were both pretty puffed up from all the eating by the time we left. We also went to the Mormon Battalion in Old Town. I knew of the battalion but I didn't know all the details. So it was really cool to see. Then we went to Coronado and La jolla. And Steve was our personal photographer.

It was short and sweet trip. Hopefully when Steve and Lizette come here we can take care of them as well as they took care of us.

This last thursday I was able to meet up with a couple of friends from sizzler days. I was so happy to see you guys. They both are amazing girls. These pics are from 99 we went wakeboarding. Maybe the only time I've ever been. Its because I couldn't get up.. So yes I'm a quiter.. But the picture of the wakeboarder is Erin. But also look at the mountains. Yep snow.
